A Producer in Stampersgat Who Releases New Music Every Month Reaches Number Four

Love 2 Love You by Pearl Project sits at number four on this desk’s Pop, Commercial Pop and Chart Pop playlist. The single came out on 10 October 2025, and it is still finding listeners a year on. Behind it is Marc Denys, a producer working from Stampersgat in the Netherlands, and a release plan that has not missed a month since.

Pearl Project’s Love 2 Love You holds number four in the playlist below, among this desk’s pop, commercial pop and chart pop, and Pearl Project’s artist profile gathers the coverage so far. The single reached BestMusic.News through PopHits.Co Music Charts, which verifies independent artists and places their releases across its network of music news titles. Play it first, then read on for the numbers behind it.

The Plan Behind Pearl Project Is a New Release Every Month on Dreamweaver Records

Denys has spent nearly two decades in music, according to Musicians Today, and his roots are in house. In a Hella Fuzz interview published in March 2026, he explained that he stepped away from the dance scene because it had become crowded and no longer felt right. Pearl Project is what came after. The songs are slower and built around the writing, and Apple Music files the project under downtempo.

The output is the plan. Every Pearl Project release carries the Dreamweaver Records credit. After Love 2 Love You, the project put out 14 more releases between November 2025 and September 2026, with at least one in every calendar month. Another single is already listed for 1 January 2027.

That pace suits an act that does not tour. Denys told Hella Fuzz that he does not perform live. As a result, each release has to do the work a show would otherwise do. It gives listeners a reason to come back, and it gives playlist curators something new to consider.

The catalogue also shows how recent the push is. There were three releases in 2023, then a long gap. Regular releases only resumed in August 2025. In other words, Love 2 Love You arrived early in a run that is barely a year old.

How Love 2 Love You Reaches Listeners Without a Tour or a Single Live Date

Love 2 Love You is the release this desk is ranking. It came out as a stand-alone single, near the start of that monthly run. It is filed as alternative pop with lofi pop leanings, while Apple Music lists Pearl Project under downtempo.

The single also carries a personal story. According to Denys’s own account, it began years earlier as a private poem, written during the hardest period of his life. He credits that poem with helping him through it. Later, he found it again in an old notebook and turned it into a song. He has described the recording as emotional, bringing back old sorrow alongside happiness and gratitude.

Two reference points help place the sound. First, Zero 7 took downtempo onto the 2001 Mercury Prize shortlist with their debut album Simple Things. Later, Bonobo reached number five on the UK albums chart with Migration in 2017. Both acts built audiences that return for each record. That kind of steady return is exactly what a monthly release plan depends on.

The channels follow from that. Streaming does most of the work, led by Spotify and Apple Music. Social channels carry the rest, because Pearl Project posts across five platforms. Press has helped as well. After the release, Akt Music flagged the single on Threads. Then in November 2025, Musicians Today profiled Denys as he prepared the next wave of singles.

Collaboration is part of the plan too. Musicians Today reported that Denys spent years looking for the right vocalist for one of those singles before working with a singer named Megan. Meanwhile, he told Hella Fuzz that a producer who heard one of his non-dance songs asked to work with him.

The Numbers to Watch as Pearl Project Keeps a Monthly Release Schedule Going

The starting figures are modest, and they are worth stating plainly. At the time of writing, Pearl Project has just over 1,000 followers on Instagram, 350 on TikTok and 29 on Facebook. The TikTok profile also shows 790 likes. Those are early numbers for a project that only returned to regular releases in 2025.

Position is the figure to track. Love 2 Love You entered this desk’s Pop, Commercial Pop and Chart Pop playlist at number four in October 2026. Its next move, up or down, will show how it holds against newer entries.

The release tally is the other number. Apple Music now lists 21 Pearl Project releases, with a 22nd scheduled for January 2027. So the test is whether each new release sends listeners back to the older ones, including this one.

Denys has also said what comes next. He told Hella Fuzz that he is working on his first album. He is also working on an EP with Daymentia, the collaborator behind the January 2026 release Path of Life.

The single suits listeners who like their pop slow and reflective. It also suits anyone who follows downtempo for its patience rather than its peaks.

From the BestMusic.News curator team: “A year after release, Love 2 Love You holds number four on our pop list. The steady output behind it is the story to watch.”
